Avengers lives up to the hype

After all the hype the Avengers has received and the crossovers in the “Prequels” (Nick Fury and Agent Colson of S.H.I.E.L.D. appeared in Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America and the Black Widow in Iron Man 2 as well) the movie had best be good. And it was. The special effects were amazing, the music score was riveting and the acting was top-notch. The script was so- so. It was basically one long fight scene… with very little plot, other than Nick Fury bringing together the Avengers to wage war against Loki, Thor’s brother — but it was more than the sum of it’s parts. The Flash: Rebirth — Another Silver-Age hero returns

Along with Green Lantern, The Flash has always been one of my favorite DC superheroes, but for different reasons. I like GL because he’s a fairly ordinary guy with an extraordinary tool. (His ring, getcher minds outta the gutter! ~ed.) The Flash, on the other hand, just has one super-power, but he uses it in a lot of different ways. And now DC is bringing back arguably the most famous Flash after a comic book absence (though not TV) of over two decades. Barry Allen is back in print with .
