So here’s the deal …

We started this site about a year ago in hopes it would turn into something big. We still have those hopes. The problem is that none of the partners, Sarah Hoyt, Charlie Martin or myself really have the time, with day jobs and family and what not, to devote to it that it needs to get Otherwhere to really take off.

So here’s the deal — we’re starting two things, a donation drive and, soon, an indiegogo project. The idea is to come up with two years of funding so that yours truly can devote two years of full-time work to this site — and turn it into the sort of destination for SF, Fantasy and all things geek we all know it can be!

So if you want to help, hit the PayPal button, even $1 will help. When the indiegogo is live we’ll let you know. There will be all sorts of spiffs, including posters, signed books and even redshirtings available! (Who knows, we may even be able to get the authors to let you decide how you will die!
